Summer is here! Please help us keep Emerald Isle safe and enjoyable for everyone!
Summer is Here! Help Us Keep Emerald Isle Safe and Enjoyable for Everyone! Summer is here, and all of us at the Town look forward to the influx of visitors over the next several months! All of us at the Town want everyone to have a great time in Emerald Isle. We also want everyone to be cognizant of important Town regulations designed to keep Emerald Isle safe and enjoyable for everyone. Here are a few friendly reminders: Please deposit trash and recyclables in the appropriate containers. Keep Emerald Isle's beach and neighborhoods clean and green! Please keep all dogs on a leash, and remove your dog's feces from the beach and other locations. Please stay off the dunes and any exposed sandbags! No open fires are permitted on the beach, or anywhere else in Emerald Isle! If you dig holes on the beach strand, please fill them in when you are done so they aren't a safety hazard for others! Please remove shade tents from the beach strand each night so they aren't a safety hazard and don't create problems for sea turtles. They also litter the beach during unexpected storms! Most fireworks are illegal in North Carolina! Thanks for your cooperation! Enjoy Emerald Isle!
